Job Context:
∎ Maintaining access to WASH, Shelter, Energy and Self-Reliance services for the Rohingyas in Bangladesh.
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities of ‘Accounts Assistant’ to ensure effective implementation of project financial interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation.
∎ In this circumstance, the organization is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the improved Finance & Accounts services.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure appropriate segregation / classification of project financial transactions,
∎ Responsible for checking and processing of all cash/bank payment.
∎ Perform field level financial activities as per need of the project
∎ Ensure & maintain adequate documentation supporting financial transactions
∎ Assist to pay cheque/cash to vendors or supplier,
∎ Assist to preparation of Payroll and payments advice to bank.
∎ Assist to process of monthly mobile/internet bill
∎ Assist to or responsible for monthly Bank Reconciliation statement.
∎ Assist to prepare monthly Cheque Reconciliation Statement.
∎ Assist to pay volunteer payments, & confirm & adjust maintaining due compliances,
∎ Input into Tally if required
∎ Any others as the respective supervisor assign to perform as per project requirement.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience on project accounting and Work experience in NGO/Development Agency is preferred.
∎ Basic knowledge on Finance/Accounting principles, rules and regulations
∎ Professional work experience in Finance & Accounting.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word, Excel, MS office)
∎ Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla & English
∎ Should be sincere, polite, dynamic, hardworking & willing to work under pressure.
∎ Female candidate will get preferences.

Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
