Education:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
∎ ACCA (part-qualified) or CA (CC) candidates highly preferred.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
∎ Sound knowledge of IAS/IFRS, VAT, and tax regulations.
∎ Hands-on experience with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
∎ Familiarity with ERP/accounting software is an advantage.
∎ Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Honest, professional, and detail-oriented with a team-player attitude.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare accounting journal entries, including sales, purchase, petty cash, and depreciation.
∎ Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IAS/IFRS.
∎ Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reviews.
∎ Support the preparation of MIS reports and management financial packs.
∎ Conduct outlet-wise physical inventory checks and reconcile with system records.
∎ Ensure proper VAT and tax documentation and assist in monthly return submissions.
∎ Support procurement procedures and documentation audits for retail operations.
∎ Use online banking systems for payment processing.
∎ Maintain documentation related to corporate bank facilities.
∎ Provide assistance in internal and external audit processes.
∎ Solve day-to-day transactional and system entry issues.
∎ Maintain high standards of professional integrity and work ethics.
