Education:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
∎ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.·
∎ Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
∎ Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
∎ Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain and update records of financial transactions including daily sales, expenses, payroll, and supplier payments.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and submit them to senior management for review.
∎ Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing and collection of payments.
∎ Conduct regular audits and reconciliation of bank statements and financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
∎ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and prepare tax returns as necessary.
