∎ Minimum Experience: 10–15 years in embroidery production
∎ Industry Exposure: Mandatory experience working with reputed global buyers, especially PUMA and M&S
∎ Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of embroidery machines, techniques, software, and quality standards.
∎ Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, especially in buyer interactions.
∎ Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial optimization within factory operations.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the end-to-end embroidery operations as the Factory Head.
∎ Ensure seamless production planning, workflow management, and on-time delivery.
∎ Maintain high standards of product quality, safety, and compliance.
∎ Develop and implement effective production schedules aligned with buyer requirements.
∎ Monitor and control production metrics, ensuring optimal efficiency and resource utilization.
∎ Address production bottlenecks and provide timely solutions.
∎ Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers and merchandising teams.
∎ Ensure clear, timely, and professional communication for sample approvals, order executions, and issue resolutions.
∎ Maintain buyer satisfaction through responsiveness and technical competence.
∎ Drive business growth through outstanding marketing strategies for embroidery services.
∎ Build long-term partnerships with new and existing buyers.
∎ Promote embroidery capabilities in alignment with fashion trends and client demands.
∎ Conduct precise cost calculations for embroidery work including thread, labor, machine time, and overheads.
∎ Perform daily and monthly cost optimization to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Collaborate with finance and planning teams for budgeting and forecasting.
∎ Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Assistant General Manager – Embroidery to lead our embroidery operations with precision and excellence. The ideal candidate must bring proven leadership experience in managing embroidery production within top-tier garment manufacturing units, with direct working experience with global brands like PUMA and Marks & Spencer (M&S). This position requires a sharp business acumen, an eye for detail in embroidery production, and strategic capabilities in cost control and buyer communication.
