Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and execute regional/area-wise sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and market share targets.
∎ Monitor and adapt plans based on market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
∎ Lead and guide a team of Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), and field staff.
∎ Monitor field activities to ensure productivity, coverage, and sales target achievement.
∎ Expand and strengthen the wholesaler, distributor, and institutional buyer network.
∎ Identify and develop white space or underperforming markets, including rural and semi-urban territories.
∎ Appoint new customers and business partners in uncovered areas.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and distribution partners.
∎ Ensure customer satisfaction through regular engagement and prompt issue resolution.
∎ Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure proper execution of region-specific trade promotions, in-market activities, and visibility initiatives.
∎ Ensure adherence to pricing policies, credit terms, and collection procedures.
∎ Track outstanding dues and ensure timely collections in line with company policies.
∎ Track and review sales KPIs (volume, value, growth, etc.) and submit area-wise/region-wise performance reports to the management.
∎ Provide regular market feedback to support strategy adjustments and innovation.
