Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
∎ Drive sales growth by retaining existing business and penetrating new orders and ensuring their successful execution.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals and promote business expansion.
∎ Lead efforts in business development, coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
∎ Accurately forecast sales orders and material need to meet customer demand in executing the orders.
∎ Preparation of appropriate business reports on potential vs performance, including monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis of sales achievements and material forecast.
∎ Analyze sales data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
∎ Partner with the Product Development team to develop products as customer needs.
∎ Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to ensure timely production and delivery of orders.
∎ Work closely with the Commercial team to manage payment collections and resolve any related issues.
∎ Build and sustain strong relationships with both existing and potential customers.
∎ Deliver excellent customer service by addressing pricing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
∎ Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities.
∎ Provide insights and recommendations to the Head of Vendor Sales for strategic decision-making.
∎ The position of Area Sales Manager is a full-time role located in Chittagong. The incumbent will hold responsibility for all business operations within the Chittagong territory, including the leadership and development of the sales team. Key duties include formulating and implementing effective sales strategies, managing and mentoring the sales team, and tracking sales performance to ensure target achievement. Furthermore, the Area Sales Manager will be tasked with building and maintaining strong client relationships, analyzing market dynamics to inform business forecasts, and generating sales in accordance with the company's strategic goals.
