Job Context:
∎ BRAC University (BRACU) invites applications for an experienced, exceptional leader to join as Assistant Director of Sports & Fitness. The Assistant Director will create a vision, strategic, and operational plan to promote wide participation and excellence in sports and fitness across BRAC University. The Assistant Director will work primarily with students but also with faculty and staff and on outreach activities. The post holder will be responsible for the management and delivery of all aspects of sports and fitness provision.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reporting to the Joint Director, Student Life, Assistant Director will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the University's Sports & Fitness centre. Responsibilities include develop and implement a vision, strategy, and operational plan for sports and fitness across the university, promoting wide participation and excellence. Also, training and evaluation of the participants, determining class schedules, and development of outreach events, including one-time classes or special events with on-campus and off-campus partners. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is also an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years significant experience of the management of sports and fitness provision and physical instruction for all levels of ability in an educational institution.
