Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, on boarding, training & development, performance management, employee engagement, and grievance handling.
∎ Drive HR policy implementation in line with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
∎ Implement and monitor manpower planning and workforce optimization.
∎ Guide the HR team in maintaining employee files, records, and database systems.
∎ Promote a safe, fair, and motivating workplace culture.
∎ Ensure compliance with local labor laws, BLA 2006 and BLR 2015, and all statutory regulations.
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor, fire, environmental, and other relevant legal frameworks.
∎ Prepare the factory for buyer audits including BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ACCORD, ALLIANCE, etc.
∎ Maintain compliance certifications and follow up on CAP (Corrective Action Plan) closures.
∎ Liaise with buyers, external auditors, and relevant authorities during compliance visits.
∎ Coordinate internal and external social compliance and technical audits.
∎ Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
∎ Train staff and management on compliance requirements and company policies.
