Education:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS) in Law, Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Law
∎ Certified Lead Auditor in SA8000, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.
∎ Experience with LEED, Higg Index, or Sustainability Reporting is an added advantage.
∎ Ability to manage multiple factories or units under one group.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Bachelor’s/Master’s in Social Science, Law, or any relevant discipline.
∎ Postgraduate diploma or certification in Compliance/HR/Industrial Relations preferred.
∎ Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Compliance in the RMG/textile sector.
∎ In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 (amended), environmental regulations, and factory compliance standards.
∎ Experience handling third-party audits and working with international buyers.
∎ Strong communication skills in Bangla and English.
∎ Good command over MS Office, email, and report writing.
∎ Leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, and buyer requirements.
∎ Handle H&M Step Platform (Data Validation by 3rd Party) independently.
∎ Develop, implement, and monitor internal compliance programs and corrective action plans (CAP).
∎ Liaise with buyers’ representatives, audit teams, and third-party agencies to coordinate compliance audits and follow-ups.
∎ Lead the internal audit team and ensure the factory remains audit-ready at all times.
∎ Prepare and update compliance documentation, policies, manuals, and reports as required.
∎ Provide compliance training to factory management, workers, and staff on key issues (e.g., child labor, forced labor, harassment, safety).
∎ Manage grievance handling systems and ensure a safe, harassment-free workplace.
∎ Supervise the implementation of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols in line with buyer COC standards.
∎ Ensure Fire Safety and Building Safety compliance according to national laws and relevant buyer protocols.
∎ Monitor factory social compliance KPIs, including working hours, wages, benefits, and workplace conditions.
∎ Collaborate with HR/Admin and Production departments to address compliance issues effectively.
∎ Maintain documentation and follow-up for certifications and affiliations (e.g.,  BETTER WORK, GOTS, Oeko-Tex, OCS, RCS, GRS, RWS, SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP etc.).
∎ Conduct risk assessments and initiate corrective measures.
∎ Any other task assigned by the superior.
