∎ Skills:
∎ Proficiency in the maintenance and repair of spreaders, fusing machines, band knives, heat seal machines, laser cutters, and embroidery machines. Strong understanding of electrical systems and their maintenance. Knowledge of special finishing kits and utility-related machinery maintenance. Experience in spare parts management and inventory control. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Assistant Manager for our Cutting Room Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing a variety of cutting room machines, including spreaders, fusing machines, band knives, heat seal machines, laser cutters, and embroidery machines. The role also requires a solid understanding of electrical systems maintenance, spare parts management, and a basic knowledge of utility-related machine maintenance. This position is crucial in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and contributing to the smooth operation of the cutting room.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Maintenance and Repair:
∎ o Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cutting room equipment, including spreaders, fusing machines, band knives, heat seal machines, laser cutters, and embroidery machines.
∎ o Address and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
∎ o Oversee and assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
∎ 2. Electrical Systems:
∎ o Conduct maintenance and repairs on electrical systems associated with cutting room machinery.
∎ o Ensure that electrical components are functioning correctly and safely.
∎ 3. Special Finishing Kits:
∎ o Maintain and repair special finishing kits used in the cutting room.
∎ o Ensure that finishing equipment is operating to standard and providing desired results.
∎ 4. Utility Machines:
∎ o Apply knowledge of utility-related machines and systems for maintenance and repair, if applicable.
∎ o Monitor and manage the upkeep of utility equipment to ensure continuous operation.
∎ 5. Spare Parts Management:
∎ o Manage the inventory of spare parts and ensure availability for all cutting room machinery.
∎ o Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory system to track usage, orders, and stock levels.
∎ o Coordinate with suppliers to procure high-quality spare parts in a timely manner.
∎ o Ensure the proper storage and handling of spare parts to prevent damage and ensure quick access.
∎ 6. Team Collaboration:
∎ o Supervise and coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors as needed.
∎ o Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and maintenance personnel.
∎ o Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production.
∎ 7. Documentation and Reporting:
∎ o Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment performance.
∎ o Generate and analyze reports on machinery performance and maintenance needs.
∎ 8. Compliance and Safety:
∎ o Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
∎ o Promote a safe working environment and adhere to best practices in machinery maintenance.
