Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Prepare Fire-Fighting System Drawing (Fire Hydrant System, Fire Sprinkler System, Fire Detection System)
∎ • Create software based Hydraulic Calculation for Fire Hydrant System & Sprinkler System.
∎ • Prepare documentation, Testing & Commissioning report as per NFPA standard.
∎ • Monitoring and reviewing fire safety management within the department.
∎ • Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire suppression systems (sprinklers, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers).
∎ • Creating and implementing fire safety policies and procedures.
∎ • Developing evacuation plans and conducting fire drills.
∎ • Ensuring all employees are trained in fire safety protocols.
∎ • Conducting fire risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards.
∎ • Monitoring and auditing of compartmentalization and fire stopping.
∎ • Training fire wardens on their roles and responsibilities.
∎ • Ensuring staff are aware of fire safety procedures and how to respond in an emergency.
∎ • Ensuring fire escape routes and exits are always clear and usable.
∎ • Investigating fire incidents and determining their cause.
∎ • Liaising with local fire services and other relevant authorities.
∎ • Ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and legislation.
∎ • Advising on fire issues and providing guidance on compliance.
∎ • Organizing spot checks around the site.
∎ • Arranging regular fire alarm tests and fire drills.
∎ • Promoting a culture of safety and readiness within the organization.
