Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage end-to-end payroll processing for workers in compliance with statutory laws and company policies.
∎ Ensure accuracy in salary disbursements, deductions, reimbursements, and tax withholdings.
∎ Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory requirements such as PF and other labor-related compliances.
∎ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulatory changes.
∎ Maintain and update employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, salary revisions, and leaves.
∎ Coordinate with HR and Finance for accurate data collection and integration.
∎ Prepare payroll reports and support internal/external audits.
∎ Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll statements for management review.
∎ Assist in streamlining and automating payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
∎ Participate in payroll software upgrades or implementations.
∎ Address employee queries related to payroll, taxation, and deductions.
∎ Provide support during full-and-final settlements.
∎ Support and guide junior payroll staff in daily operations.
∎ Work closely with cross-functional teams
