Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise overall store operations: receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
∎ Maintain proper records of raw materials, finished goods, consumables, and spares.
∎ Implement and maintain inventory management systems (manual/ERP-based).
∎ Conduct regular stock verification, reconciliation, and audits.
∎ Monitor material shelf life, expiry, and damages, and take corrective actions as needed.
∎ Handle all regulatory licenses required for factory operations (e.g., trade license, fire license, BSTI, environment clearance, import license, etc.).
∎ Ensure timely renewal of all licenses and permits to avoid operational disruption.
∎ Keep updated documentation and records related to inspections, audits, and renewals.
∎ Maintain compliance with labor laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
∎ Maintain all store-related documentation: GRN, SRN, MRN, challans, gate passes, etc.
∎ Maintain records of all licenses, expiry dates, submissions, and renewal status.
∎ Submit periodic reports to management on inventory, consumption trends, and compliance status.
∎ Coordinate with procurement, production, QA/QC, maintenance, and finance teams.
∎ Communicate with suppliers, regulatory officials, customs authorities, and auditors.
∎ Support factory inspections or audits conducted by regulatory bodies or clients.
∎ Ensure the store complies with health, safety, and fire regulations.
∎ Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store area.
∎ Safeguard materials against theft, damage, or misuse.
∎ Supervise storekeepers, data entry operators, and helpers.
∎ Train the team on inventory practices, safety, and compliance handling.
∎ Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance.
∎ Key Responsibilities for the position of Assistant Manager-Store & License
