∎ Experience working at fabric mills is highly preferred;
∎ The candidate must have a good knowledge of denim fabric, the market, trends, and fashions;
∎ Mandatory sourcing, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills;
∎ Must have a high level of ethical awareness;
∎ Ability to work alone & with limited supervision;
∎ Strong leadership and motivation skills;
∎ Preferably in Gazipur, Uttara, Dhaka;
∎ Team Leader with proactive interpersonal skills;
∎ Ability to work hard and manage pressure;
∎ Open-minded approach to learning new skills and sharpening existing ones;
∎ Result-oriented with a strong desire for success;
∎ Self-starter and proactive;
∎ Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify potential denim producers, both domestically and internationally; This involves conducting research and establishing collaborations with suppliers;
∎ Source the required fabric within the targeted price range and timeline;
∎ Prepare a Fabric Library with a unique ID for each fabric—both virtual and physical; Maintain a fabric archive, which includes physical sampling and storage, a digital database, and ongoing updates;
∎ Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company;
∎ Ensure that denim fabrics sourced meet the required quality standards; This involves conducting quality inspections and working closely with the product development team to address any quality issues;
∎ Define a vendor capability assessment matrix aligned with the organizational vision to deliver a larger, better, and more valuable supply chain;
∎ Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
