Education:
∎ Bachelor/Honors, Masters
∎ Diploma or professional courses in Apparel Merchandising, Textile & Garment Technology will get preference.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Basic knowledge of textile products, fiber, yarn & fabrics
∎ Knowledge on fabrics faults and remedies

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the design sheets are disbursed to the field by maintaining the schedule and quality products are received as per the prescribed timeline.
∎ Check the sample requisition sheet and costing.
∎ Production monitoring through effective and regular field visit.
∎ Ensure that the products fulfill the quality benchmark.
∎ Focus on minimizing cost and rejection rate during production.
∎ Prepare ‘Weekly Production Report’ and communicate with the management.
∎ Adopt and support the development process based on the organization’s needs.
∎ Lead, guide and motivate the producers and weavers.
∎ Solve quality related problems by coordinating with concern department & if necessary, then consult with management.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
