Job Context:
∎ Job Purpose: The Assistant Project Officer (APO) is responsible for ensuring SNSRC Projects implementation and reporting at unit / branch level in coordination with project officer. The APO is also expected to maintain a good working relationship with project team, NHQ, SweRC and local government and non-government actors.
∎ Reporting to: Project Manager -SNSRC project
∎ Responsible for: To ensure effective implementation, monitoring and reporting of the project as planned
∎ Location Unit/ District level at SNSRC Project Area (Jamalpur & Kurigram)
∎ Contract Period: 1 (one) Year with possibility of extension

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the project as planned.
∎ Support to prepare field for conduction of Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment, midterm and end line evaluation
∎ In consultation with Project officers, prepare monthly activity plan, budget and cash request for each community and implement activities accordingly.
∎ Support in monitoring data collection, compilation and share in coordination with PMER officer -SNSRC project
∎ Monthly narrative reporting, best practice documentation and case story capture
∎ Coordinate and regular report to Unit Level Officer (ULO)/ Project Officer for smooth operation of the project
∎ Ensure CEA and PGI quality standards are met during project implementation.
∎ Guide, direct and supervise the work of the community workers/mobilisers
∎ Coordinate and monitor all the SNSRC project activities at the community level and assist community organisers in project implementation at community level.
∎ Work hand in hand with communities to strengthen the capacity of community groups in terms of project implantation and monitoring
∎ Organise all planned trainings, awareness campaigns, community meetings and dialogues as per the timeline in the plan of action.
∎ Contact/liaison with relevant NGOs/INGOs, government agencies and other public organisations at the sub district and district level.
∎ Any other duties as assigned by the authority

Additional Requirements:
∎ Person with additional experience on PGI and Green response with project assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation as well as working in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team will be given a priority.
∎ Analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
∎ Able to plan and work independently with minimum or no supervision.
∎ Able to influence, communicate, co-operate and negotiate with a wide range of people and organisations.
∎ Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks.
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla.
∎ Have adequate user level knowledge on various computer applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.
∎ Commitment to the Red Cross and Red Crescent principles and values
∎ Honest and high level of integrity
∎ Willing to work for vulnerable and people in need and travel to field.

Salary: Tk. 38000 (Monthly)
