Education:
∎ B. Pharm (Hons), / B-grade Pharmacist (minimum) with professional experience/ Other graduate with experience in medicine warehouse/store management.
∎ Minimum 2-3 years of robust experience of INGO/NGO emergency programme, and with experience of working within a complex and matrix organisational structure.
∎ An excellent understanding of medical supply chain management·       Experience in health logistics, specifically medical logistics, including procurement, transportation, and warehouse stock management.
∎ Sound knowledge on health program in humanitarian context.
∎ Ability to work within a tight timeframe,

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support both hard and soft tracking of medical commodities, including related logistical documentation such as stock cards, Stack cards, BIN cards, GRNs, Waybill, SRF etc.
∎ Assist to ensure drug supply chain procedures comply with SCI, PHD and donor regulations.
∎ Assist in managing medicine stock for main storage and assigned health facilities using warehouse management tools and trackers.
∎ Assist to ensure medicine dispensing follows guidelines and doctor-approved stock withdrawal forms.
∎ Assist to maintain accurate and up-to-date warehouse records and documentation, including stock cards, BIN cards, waybills, store releases, inventory lists, and TIM entries.
∎ Supports to maintain proper storage conditions, including temperature and humidity, for medicine warehouses/stores and cold chain items.
∎ Assist in ensuring quality assurance for medicinal and supply chain management.
∎ Assist in preparing timely procurement requests while maintaining buffer stock levels.
∎ Take supportive measures to prevent stock-outs, overstocking, or expiry of medicines and supplies.
∎ Assist in tracking statistics and indicators to monitor performance, conduct risk assessments, and manage workload, ensuring effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Assist in implementing and upholding policies and procedures for the management of the medical supply chain, stores, and pharmacy.
∎ Assist in ensuring efficient management and implementation of the medical supply chain for PHCC and Field Hospital, including advising field sites on stock management and managing all medical stocks.
∎ Regularly review medical stocks and report findings to prevent stock-outs.
∎ Uphold good stock management and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
∎ Maintain reliable cold chain capacities to support EPI activities.
∎ Support the Medical Logistics Coordinator and CXB Procurement Department with ad hoc health commodity procurement requests and stock replenishment.
∎ Play a supportive role to oversee stock control by preparing monthly stock reports, ensuring security and maintenance of medical stores, and maintaining proper storage conditions.
∎ Always be updated with other SCI and PHD’s related guidelines, including Procurement, Warehouse, and Medical Logistics.
∎ Represent SCI and PHD in camp-level coordination forums in the absence of the Senior Officer - Pharmacy.
∎ Assist the Storekeeper/Officer-Medical Warehouse and Senior Officer - Pharmacy in documenting lessons learned and disseminating local-level information.
∎ Ensure all medical warehouse-related activities are well-documented to preserve the institutional memory of PHD & SCI- Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Participate in meetings, trainings, seminars, and workshops as required by the program and organization.
∎ Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
∎ Host donor and PHD & SCI guest visits to primary healthcare centers.
∎ Be prepared to respond to any natural disaster or emergency anywhere in Bangladesh.
∎ Child Safeguarding:
∎ Level 3: the role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
∎ ROLE PURPOSE:
∎ The position Assistant Storekeeper will assist in the efficient operation and implementation of the medical supply chain for the Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC) at Camp, providing guidance on stock management for field sites. She/he will be responsible for managing the medical stock at the Cox’s Bazar medical store, including routine maintenance and cleaning of the facility, preparing and receiving medical orders from Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar, and picking and dispatching orders for the PHCC and Field Hospital. Additionally, the incumbent will ensure the implementation of a robust medical logistics management information system across all project areas. She/he will also actively assist to technical expertise in areas such as pharmaceutical quantification, consumption monitoring, and order compliance as GMT guidelines.
∎ KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
∎ Key Area 1: Management and Daily Operations
