We have expanded our business in different location in Bangladesh, that's why looking for the competent, experienced individuals for its different departments (i.e. Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Poultry, Dairy & Cattle, Food, Farm, Hatchery, Feed Mill, IT, Purchase, Production, Sales & Marketing and Accounts):
∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ Responsible of the production department of C. P. Bangladesh Co. Ltd (Farm Unit - 01).
∎ Look after the Farm Management & Technical Service, farm production, cost control.
∎ Farm waste reduction, employee satisfaction & other KPIs, growth management.
∎ Revenue Recognition for Agricultural Produce: Determining the appropriate time and method for recognizing revenue from the sale of agricultural products, considering factors like harvest cycles and market conditions.
∎ Accounting for Government Subsidies and Grants: Many agricultural companies receive financial support from government programs. The Accounts Department is responsible for properly accounting for these funds.
∎ Depreciation of Agricultural Assets: Managing the depreciation of specialized agricultural equipment, machinery, and farm buildings, considering their useful lives and potential for obsolescence.
∎ Land Accounting: Handling the accounting for land, which is a significant asset in agriculture, and recording any related costs like improvements or conservation efforts.
∎ Understanding Commodity Markets: Keeping abreast of fluctuations in commodity prices, which can significantly impact the company's revenue and profitability.
∎ Tax Planning and Compliance Specific to Agriculture: Navigating the specific tax laws and regulations that apply to agricultural businesses, including potential deductions, credits, and exemptions.
∎ Risk Management Support: Providing financial data and analysis to help identify and manage financial risks associated with factors like weather, market volatility, and disease outbreaks.
∎ Ensuring Financial Stability: Providing a clear picture of the company's financial health to ensure it can meet its obligations and plan for the future.
∎ Supporting Informed Decision-Making: Supplying timely and accurate financial information to management to aid in strategic and operational decisions.
∎ Ensuring Compliance: Adhering to all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.
∎ Improving Efficiency and Profitability: Identifying areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement through financial analysis.
∎ Maintain training schedule for subordinate stuff & time to time report to HR dept.
∎ Should have the positive mentality and impression to take more responsibility aligned with the department, if required.
∎ Must do others job beyond accounting responsibility as per management requirement.
∎ Knowledge and understanding of Thai language will be an additional advantage.
