Job Responsibilities:
∎ Possess adequate knowledge in Bangladesh Labour Law, ILO Convention, local laws & regulations and ensure implementation
∎ Develop single point of contact for all legal, compliance and regulatory matters of the employees so that the operations of HR can run efficiently and meet all legal compliance requirements as applicable from time to time
∎ Manage grievance and disciplinary issues, identify valid complaints and assist departmental head to take necessary action by following corporate laws
∎ Manage litigation cases in the Labor Court that will arise due to employee grievance or other disciplinary issues related to employees (both existent and non-existent)
∎ Ensure action plans to handle employee Relation, Employee Grievance & Disciplinary actions
∎ Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
∎ Negotiate when necessary the out-of-court settlements that are satisfactory to both parties
∎ Initiate internal compliance within the Organization and ensure the maintenance of compliance
∎ Prepare Legal Notice in case of any legal dispute that arise due to employee grievance and disciplinary actions
∎ Maintain liaison with the local police station, government/ semi - government office, etc. for any legal requirement through effective communication and documentation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
∎ Very good command in English and Bangla (specially writing skill) is a MUST
