Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Build a world-class R&D division focused on developing high-quality generic pharmaceutical products for domestic and international markets.
∎ Oversee method development and validation to support regulated markets, including ANDA filings (US-FDA), ensuring full regulatory compliance.
∎ Guide the team in designing lab-scale and pilot-scale development batches using a Quality by Design (QbD) approach.
∎ Ensure the development and timely launch of new products in alignment with the marketing dept.
∎ Ensure Tech Transfer and Alternate Source Projects as per agreed timelines.
∎ Plan and implement analytical activities for new product development.
∎ Coordinate the approval of raw material sources/vendors and oversee process and cleaning validation activities.
∎ Ensure stability studies for product development trial samples.
