Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/ BBA with MBA from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing and controlling the respective company's all external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of materials and finished parts for production on due time.
∎ Ensure delivery of material(s) at the right price from the right source at the right time with the right quantity and quality.
∎ Maintain all kinds of merchandising report.
∎ Preparing purchase order/work orders & follow up delivery.
∎ Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers and buyers who are aligned to the company's needs.
∎ Sourcing of new buyers and sampling, send for testing and approval for new business development.
∎ Foster close working relationships with associated departments e.g. Store, Sales, Production etc.
∎ Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down external spend.
∎ Price negotiation with supplier and furnish comparative analysis to take final approval from the authority.
∎ Remain update about current stock of raw material and spare parts to make plan for incoming material and place new order, Analysis of forecast and stock to ensure accurate procurement plan.
∎ Monitor of Issuing LC, Advance payment & closely follow up with forwarder regarding various cargoes position and taking necessary steps if situation arises; Collect all shipping documents from the suppliers and provide to bank for endorsement.
∎ Follow-up local vendors for on time delivery.
∎ Negotiate, contract and monitor the logistics to deliver finished product from factory to delivery point.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10 years working experience in Export oriented manufacturing company.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Footwear sector/Shoe manufacturing concern will be getting preferred.
∎ Please do not apply if you have no relevant experience
∎ Good communication skill both in English and Bangla
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.
Salary: Negotiable
