∎ Incumbent having degree/diploma in apparel merchandising / textile will get preference.
∎ Academic qualification may be relaxed for exceptionally deserving candidates.

∎ At least 5 year(s)

Now to further boost its business, company intends to recruit energetic & experienced persons in its Marketing & Merchandising Department.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka / Factory at Sreepur, Gazipur.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for Marketing & Merchandising function for a group of buyers.
∎ Enhance number of buyers in the portfolio.
∎ Develop strategy for execution of Business plan for a group of buyers.
∎ Prepare & analyze pre-costing & post costing and evaluate financial result of product.
∎ Co-ordinate with product development team for ensuring timely submission of samples to buyer.
∎ Ensure timely procurement of input for maintaining production & shipment schedule.
∎ Establish and maintain a strong, strategic partnership with vendor and suppliers.
∎ Production follow up for booked order for ensuring timely shipment.
∎ Remain up-to-date about all the technologies and techniques, trends, competitors and all aspects of the group target.
∎ Ensure periodic reporting to the management.
∎ Any other job as assigned by the superior / management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in the area of Marketing/ Merchandising / Business Development in export oriented apparel industry.
∎ Experience of working with lingerie subsector will be an added advantage.
∎ Adequate knowledge on MS Office package especially in MS Excel.
∎ Excellent Interpersonal & Communication skills both in Bengali & English.
∎ Capable of working independently.
∎ Having strong liaison with buyers/buying office is highly desirable.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ In addition to salary, incumbent may be entitled target oriented sales commission.
