Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure that daily production goals and targets are met in alignment with company objectives and deadlines.
∎ Coordinate with production teams to optimize production efficiency and address any potential bottlenecks.
∎ Oversee the continuous flow of production and adjust processes when needed to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Supervise and control the operation of production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out in a timely manner to avoid machine downtime and production delays.
∎ Work closely with the maintenance team to address any mechanical issues affecting production.
∎ Monitor the production process to ensure that product quality standards are consistently met.
∎ Conduct regular quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
∎ Implement corrective actions if quality issues are identified and ensure the product meets customer and regulatory requirements.
∎ Assist in the recruitment and training of new employees in production procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
∎ Provide guidance and mentorship to new and existing workers, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the production team.
∎ Report daily production progress, machine performance, and any issues to upper management.
∎ Assist in preparing reports on production efficiency, quality control, and worker performance.
∎ Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control) to ensure production goals are achieved without disruption.
∎ Ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all staff, adhering to health and safety regulations.
∎ Context:
∎ The assistant manager of production for our plastic tank factory is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the production processes in a tank manufacturing facility. This role involves overseeing daily production activities, machine control and maintenance, product quality checks, worker training, and reporting to upper management to ensure that production goals are met consistently.
