Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Carries out all types of catalyst work that involves unloading of catalyst unloading reloading of reactors and reformers using breathing air equipment as applicable
∎ Knowledgeable in all types of catalyst equipment operations and trouble shooting
∎ Carries out all confined space work in an Oxygen deficient and inert atmosphere
∎ Carries out all outside and inside reactor pipe fitting, removal and reinstallation of internals related to the given project
∎ Carries out screening of catalyst including setting of screening machine
∎ Handles job duties and delegated tasks to workers under him
∎ Creates and monitors schedules for each worker and ensure that he has the physical and mental ability to cope with the assigned duties
∎ Makes sure that work sites are cleaned and cleared of any hazardous materials prior to the beginning of a job
∎ Briefs crew members about how daily tasks need to be carried out
∎ Ensures that all machinery and tools are available to the crew and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance
∎ Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the supervisor
∎ Carries out all assigned duties safely and efficiently
∎ Reports any unsafe conditions immediately
∎ Follows all company, plant and Govt rules and regulations
∎ Maintains the equipment/ tools /accessories assigned for the job and in his control or being used by him and report the damaged equipment immediately
∎ Attends all company training programs to enhance skills and information
∎ Does not commence any work if in doubt and consults immediate supervisor.
