Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend systems, APIs, and services.
∎ Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
∎ Optimize application performance and scalability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
∎ Implement and maintain database schemas and manage data storage solutions (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
∎ Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
∎ Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of all backend systems.
∎ Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
∎ Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
∎ Stay current with industry trends, backend development tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our development processes.
∎ Collaborate with DevOps to ensure continuous integration and deployment pipelines are efficient and reliable.
