∎ The company concentrates in the development and pilot production of a key product range in Sydney and full scale manufacturing industry in South east continents initially in Bangladesh. Due to it`s recent growth and focus of operational excellence, an outstanding opportunity for a senior leader to be responsible for the Bangladesh manufacturing site has become available.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As the Site Operations/ Production Manager your role is to manage, develop and lead staff, and to establish a culture that supports all aspects of the manufacturing site, and flexible to travel to Sydney site and overseas for relevant trainings and development activities. Your responsibilities will focus on:
∎ Administratively manage the production team to execute production projects, ensuring facilities are functioning efficiently.
∎ Work with R&D and relevant teams and Assist in preparing lab scale and pilot batches, including the monitoring of first run batches and the analysis and correction of problem batches.
∎ Coordinate with and provide supoort to QA, Regulatory affairs and clinical trial activities
∎ Coordinate with customers to develop project plans and timelines; Develop production program and guidelines to support company objectives; Schedule equipment maintainace and inspection on regular basis
∎ Suggest process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity; Organise job tranings to team members; Investigate production issues and develop resolutions
∎ Determine equipment, material and manpower requirements for project execution
∎ Develop project budget and maitain expenses within budget; Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards
∎ Monitor production activities and adjust schedules for on-time delivery
∎ Ensure that the final product meets quality standards and customers specifications;Ensure the company policies and safety standards
∎ Contribute to and support the management in continuous improvement initiatives for relevant products and processes; Contribute to and support strategic R&D planning in light of the overall Corporate goals as req'd.
Additional Requirements:
∎ To be successful in this role you will have extensive leadership experience gained from a complex and fast paced manufacturing environment.
∎ Minimum 5 years work experience as production manager (R&D manager with relevant production experience may be considered) in pharmaceutical industry is essential
∎ Production/ research experience in fermentation, bio-pharmaceuticals / bio-similar product Development is essential,
∎ Experience working within a QC,quality or regulatory system is essential,
∎ Key regulatory requirements, customer information and overall understanding of Bangladesh pharmaceutical products market is essential,
∎ Experience in a customer-oriented work environment is desirable,
∎ Exposure to large-scale production environments is desirable,
∎ Clinical Trial related experience is desirable.
