Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide leadership and guidance to a team of buyers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
∎ Set clear performance expectations and goals for the buyers, monitoring their progress and providing regular feedback.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements.
∎ Collaborate with various internal departments, including sales, supply chain, and finance, to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet the company's needs.
∎ Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
∎ Review and analyze purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
∎ Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement, in corporating them into departmental strategies and processes.
∎ Conduct regular performance evaluations for the buyers, providing constructive feedback and identifying training and development needs.
∎ Resolve any escalated issues or disputes with suppliers, working closely with the buyers to find suitable resolutions.
∎ Keep stakeholders informed about the status of ongoing procurement activities, providing regular reports and updates Commitments

The categories include all consumer goods as: men?s and women?s, kids clothing, shoes, housewares, giftware, toys, food and many other goods that are primarily closeout merchandise. Ozeol has recently expanded into the Bangladesh market with an office in Dhaka and is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join the team.
We have purchasing teams in Tunisia, Romania, Taiwan, USA and India. Our development strategy involves significant worldwide expansion through Asia and South America.
