Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Conditional Access System, Telecommunication
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure absolute uptime of CAS network 24*7*365 basis for achieving uninterrupted services & maintaining highest level of QOS.
∎ Responsible for ensuring smooth operations & highest uptime of Conditional Access system during the assigned shifts.
∎ New service addition/expansion, modification in the CA system and timely notification to all stakeholders.
∎ Network Analysis which includes Health status monitoring of all Servers installed in FSR system.
∎ Managing Service encryption using of Irdeto ’s CAS system (KMS server, Streamer application and database).
∎ Troubleshooting for hardware and software level issue in CA system.
∎ Proactively communicate with Headend, CPE, SMS & CA vendor to maintain QoS.
∎ Providing all necessary support to CPE team to test new features and for any problem diagnosis at STB.
∎ Troubleshooting issues and queries related to CA system.
∎ Creating data backup as per defined SOP and restoration whenever required.
∎ OTA configuration to upgrade the software version of STBs for new features addition & bug fixes.
∎ Ensure that SOP's are followed for routine jobs to maintain standards and all preventive procedures are followed, upgrading equipment firmware whenever required so that the health and safety of the equipment & services.
∎ Report & communicate to Manager, CA vendor, OEM, Headend Team for any minor or major warning/alarm to ensure highest uptime of CA System.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of CA system for DTH or Cable TV environment is preferred
∎ Knowledge on Windows server and Linux operating system. Basic knowledge on DB and SQL queries
∎ Should have good understanding on infrastructure and network
