Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Food Preparation: Help with the cooking and preparing of menu items by the requirements and recipes of the restaurant.
∎ Ingredient management: To reduce waste, make sure all materials are used fresh, stored correctly, and effectively.
∎ Quality Control: Under intense pressure, uphold strict standards for food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
∎ Kitchen Management: Help oversee the ordering, inventorying, and upkeep of goods and equipment in the kitchen
∎ Team Support: Participate in a well-organized kitchen team, mentoring and coaching less experienced employees, and maintaining a happy workplace.
∎ Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations: Follow all health and safety guidelines, which include correct food handling, hygiene practices, and restaurant safety protocols.
∎ Kitchen Cleaning: Need to clean the kitchen and kitchen equipment. Should maintain the kitchen hygiene and follow the rules and regulations of the company.
