∎ At least 10 years of demonstrated experience successfully leading the management of complex, results based, international rural agricultural development programs (implementation, logistics, budget, staffing) funded by USAID.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The COP provides overall vision, technical leadership, management oversight and strategic direction for the Activity. The successful candidate will provide overall management guidance to the Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Sharing (MELS) component of the activity, liaising with USAID Bangladesh mission to ensure mission requirements are satisfied. The COP ensures on-time and on budget performance, leading to the achievement of all program objectives while ensuring compliance with all laws and requirements. The COP provides special leadership in building alliances, high-level policy discussions, and maintaining constructive relationships with staff, USAID Bangladesh, the Government of Bangladesh, research institutions, private sector partners and major sub-grantees.
∎ The COP will serve as the lead supervisor, point of contact, and representative for all aspects of the Feed the Future Bangladesh Climate Smart Agriculture Activity. She/He will lead the technical team in implementing technical and operational strategy, developing the program work plan, and driving implementation of program activities. Additionally, She/He will monitor progress to ensure program goals and reporting requirements are met on time and within budget and ensure compliance with USAID and IFDC policies and procedures.
∎ The COP will report to the IFDC Vice President Programs & Projects and will work cohesively with all stakeholder leadership to ensure that the Feed the Future Bangladesh Climate-Smart Agriculture Activity remains on course for achievement of the Activity goal and objectives.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The salary grade for this position is BG 11.
