Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily operations of dyeing, knitting, and finishing plants to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
∎ Ensure adherence to production timelines, quality standards, and safety norms.
∎ Monitor key KPIs for production, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance.
∎ Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity and capacity utilization.
∎ Drive innovation and technology upgrades to maintain competitive advantage.
∎ Implement lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
∎ Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
∎ Optimize resource utilization including manpower, materials, and machinery.
∎ Lead and mentor plant heads, production managers, and other key operational staff.
∎ Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and teamwork.
∎ Identify training needs and succession plans for key operational roles.
∎ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety, and environmental standards.
∎ Promote sustainable practices in dyeing and finishing processes to reduce environmental impact.
∎ Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
∎ Coordinate with finance for forecasting and reporting.
∎ Strong understanding of production planning, process optimization, and quality control.
∎ Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
∎ Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing analytics.
