∎ Graduation or Post-Graduation in Commerce/MBA/BBA or relevant subject from any UGC approved local or reputable foreign universities with no third class or equivalent in any certification;
∎ Retired army personnel in the rank of Major and above;
∎ Minimum 10 years of work experience;
∎ Sound knowledge in Islamic Shariah based Banking;
∎ Able to work under pressure and have positive mind-set;⁠
∎ Age should not be more than 55 years as at the time of application.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the security function, protecting bank’s assets, data and infrastructure;
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements;
∎ Responsible for physical security, electronic security and Fire safety in the bank’s networks;
∎ Physical protection responsibilities include asset protection, and bank network protection including branches/ Sub-Branches, ATM booths and all CHO offices/ units including subsidiaries;
∎ Devise policies and procedures regarding areas such as business continuity planning, loss prevention and privacy;
∎ Immediately report security risk issues to management with probable solutions and further initiatives to mitigate the risk;
∎ Maintain relationships with local, law enforcement and other related government agencies;
∎ Supervise the security of cash in transit service of the bank;
∎ Develop emergency procedures and incident response;
∎ Create security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures;
∎ Oversee incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches;
∎ Ensure the conducting of fire and emergency evacuation drills;
∎ Leading security awareness programs and training initiatives to educate employees about best practices and potential threats;
∎ Any other responsibilities as and when assigned.
∎ The Chief Security Officer will oversee and coordinate security efforts across the bank and its subsidiaries, including bank’s physical security, electronic security and fire safety, customers’ security, Board members & employees’ safety and security within the Bank’s premises. Besides, he will be responsible for compliance of related law of the land, regulatory and internal policies and procedures. Retired army person in the rank of Major and above may apply for the position to perform the following responsibilities:
