Job Responsibilities:
∎ This is an exciting time for a new Christian Aid Climate Justice lead we have just restrategised to refocus Christian Aids Climate Justice work on loss and damage and access to sustainable energy. Recognising that the loss and damage caused by extreme weather events hits people living in poverty hardest and that energy poverty is one of the biggest barriers to development. This role will work across the organisation building on many years of climate policy expertise and programming and working with an extensive global partner network to deliver a focused and impactful Climate Justice strategy and create transformative change for people living in poverty.
∎ Christian Aid's superpower is our extensive partner network, and we aim to management this network using partnership principles which embody integrity, transparency and shifting power to the global south.

Additional Requirements:
∎ You will be an experienced networker able to influence at all levels, as at home within the UNFCCC as with a grassroots women's group in a village in Kenya.
∎ Used to building policy from the bottom up and using quantitative and qualitative methods you will be able to demonstrate how you have developed policy and used your advocacy experience to make significant change in the Climate Justice area.
∎ You will have team management experience and see the importance of teamwork as key to an organisation's success.
∎ You will be able to display expertise of working within a diverse network and an ability to manage partners with integrity.
∎ You will have a proven ability to contribute to and work successfully as part of management and cross organisational teams with excellent time management and the ability to work with challenging deadlines and to multi tasks. You will be self-motivated, with personal resilience and the ability to sustain performance. You will have high written and oral communication skills.

Salary:
∎ BDT 2713760 gross per annum + medical reimbursement, provident fund, gratuity, life, and medical insurance. Tax & Social security deductions and national level benefits will be applicable as per the prevailing tax laws in the base country
