∎ Age at least 40 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee all export and import-related activities, including management of L/C (Letter of Credit), shipping documents, and bank dealings.
∎ Ensure smooth coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, C&F agents, and customs authorities.
∎ Ensure compliance with export-import rules and international trade regulations.
∎ Liaise with government bodies such as BGMEA, EPB, Customs, Bond Office, and Bangladesh Bank (or relevant national authorities). Handle licenses (Bond License, IRC/ERC, UD, VAT, etc.) and renewals.
∎ Ensure all documentation complies with national and international standards.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and trims.
∎ Maintain supplier relationships and monitor cost, quality, and lead time.
∎ Manage export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, GSP/CO, and bank negotiation documents.
∎ Oversee the preparation and timely submission of export-related reports.
∎ Manage commercial costing and monitor shipment profitability.
∎ Coordinate with the finance department on payment realization, foreign currency handling, and cash flow planning.
