Job Context:
∎ DASCOH Foundation is looking for a dynamic Community Development Organizer for its different projects being implemented in Naogaon and Chapainawabganj districts with the support of HEKS/EPER Bangladesh. HEKS/EPER Bangladesh aims to promote the inclusion of Dalit and Adibashi communities by strengthening their access to basic services and entitlements, as well as promoting economic empowerment.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow-up the CSO and Women Platform meetings regularly held and documentation maintained.
∎ Provide need-based support to the CSO and WP leaders to build linkage with the different stakeholders to connect community people with Social Safety Net Program (SSNP) service provision (GoB entitlements)
∎ Provide technical support to CSO and WP to sustain effective advocacy initiatives are continued with the GoB stakeholders.
∎ Ensure the regular follow-up of the livelihood initiatives in the CSO and WP meetings and problems are identified and resolved.
∎ Identify and engage youth members with TVET of the selected community to reduce the dropped out of livelihood initiatives.
∎ Facilitate the CSO, WP and youth leaders to effective linkage with GOB/NGO to leverage technical support of livelihood interventions.
∎ Regular follow up beneficiaries to ensure that they are receiving necessary inputs to sustain both on-farm and off-farm activities which started earlier.
∎ Maintain regular communication with the project staff to ensure smooth implementation the project interventions.
∎ Communicate with the ssocial leaders, women leader, health worker, UP leader, CBO, teachers to ensure effective linkage built with GoB stakeholders.
∎ Collaborate with other project team members as and when required.
∎ Represent HEKS-PNGO on behalf of the project to the community, PooCs, VDCs, NGO, CSOs, other stakeholders etc.
∎ Build liaison with the relevant youth committees, groups, association to assist PC, TO-Livelihood, TO-Skill Dev., UO to achieve the ultimate goals of the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in similar position of any livelihood/food security, climate change community development or other development programme.
∎ Must have experience in group meeting facilitation and community mobilization and advocacy with different stakeholders.
∎ Working experiences with Ethnic and Dalit communities, person with disabilities and other marginalized communities will be considered as an advantage in favour of the candidature.
∎ Minimum planning and report writing skill required.
∎ Must have attractive presentation and facilitation skills in group and advocacy meeting.
∎ Having willingness to drive motorcycle with valid motorcycle license.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 22880 (Monthly)
∎ Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Travel Allowance, Health Assurance and Leave Benefits will be entitled as per organizational policy.
