Job Context:
∎ Provision of life-saving WASH services to the Rohingya refugee population in Ukhiya.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until January 31, 2023.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct different sessions following CCC-PLTH, RANAS & Child to Child approach with laughter & playing and ensure proper implementation by regular monitoring and follow up.
∎ Implementing Hygiene promotional activities in the Rohingya community as per HPO guideline.
∎ Provide community-based capacity building regarding different Hygiene promotional activities.
∎ Intensively handle the session of Water Safety Plan (Safe drinking water collection, transportation, preservation & consume)
∎ Monitor the hygiene condition of the camp area(s) and to arrange sessions and when required under the supervision of the HPO.
∎ Supervision of the hygiene community volunteers to run the activities smoothly.
∎ Lead effective community engagement, through improving knowledge and changing the attitudes and behavior of the targeted communities.
∎ Develop and provide need-based support to “Hygiene volunteers” to establish different user groups/committee to ensure proper community engagement.
∎ Conduct regular meetings with Hygiene team for discussing progress and to mitigate any issues/challenges
∎ Conduct different survey as per required of hygiene promotions.
∎ To undertake innovative idea or new community engagement approach as and when required by the Project Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Hands on experience on community engagement approach and Hygiene promotion activities.
∎ Should have knowledge & experience on community mobilization, basic hygiene promotion at Rohingya Refugee Camp, Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Able to communicate in local language (Cox’s Bazar).
∎ Ability to work within a team.
∎ Attitude to work in flexible hours as and when required.
∎ Good knowledge on the camp-based intervention area.
Salary: Tk. 29500 (Monthly)
