Job Context:
∎ The key purpose of this position is to initiate and develop a social process in selected communities of collective analysis of community problems and collective action leading to implement of the WASH project to ensure the time bound implementation and quality of services and to provide necessary support.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until February 04, 2023.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To conduct WASH inventory assessment on targeted community in the selected area.
∎ To conduct participatory approach in promoting sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene practices in targeted area.
∎ To prepare effective Community Action Plan (CAP) through involving the targeted community people.
∎ To conduct hygiene session at community and institutional levels
∎ To document schedule plan, field report and update to Hygiene Promotion Officer in timely manner
∎ To assist the Project Team Leader in overall planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring of the project.
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups and organizations.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Practical work experience in WASH sectors with WASH focusing with CATS/CLTS Approaches.
∎ Should have knowledge on WatSan, Public Health, Community mobilization, PRA tools and techniques.
∎ Experience in community mobilization and WaSH related activities implementation at field level, willing ness to work with Low Income Community People at urban slum area.
∎ Positive attitude as development activities, team spirit and accommodative within team and community level.
∎ Basic orientation on WaSH for refugee camp
∎ WaSH experiences on refugee context
∎ Good communication skill
∎ Computer operating knowledge
∎ Working knowledge with Govt. officials
Salary: Tk. 20000 (Monthly)
