∎ • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
∎ • Basic reporting and documentation skills.
∎ • Willingness to travel frequently within project areas.

∎ • Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples' centered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 408 upazilas under 53 districts of Bangladesh covering over 12 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ • Community Mobilizer will play a key role in engaging and organizing community members—particularly youth and their families—to participate actively in the Youth Employability Project. The role involves grassroots mobilization, awareness creation, beneficiary identification, and facilitating youth access to project services. The Community Mobilizer will serve as a bridge between the community and project implementation team to ensure effective outreach and participation.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Identify, engage, and mobilize target youth groups in the community to participate in project activities.
∎ • Conduct community meetings, orientation sessions, and awareness campaigns to inform about the project's objectives and opportunities.
∎ • Support in identifying and verifying eligible youth beneficiaries in coordination with local stakeholders.
∎ • Maintain regular communication with community leaders, parents, and local institutions to foster support for youth development initiatives.
∎ • Monitor youth participation and follow up on their progress throughout the training and job placement processes.
∎ • Prepare and submit field reports, attendance sheets, and community feedback to the project team in a timely manner.
∎ • Assist in organizing field events such as job fairs, skills workshops, and employer engagement sessions.
∎ • Report any challenges, risks, or community concerns to the Field Coordinator.
∎ • Uphold ESDO is safeguarding policies and ensure youth and vulnerable groups are protected and empowered throughout project activities.
