Education:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ MBBS with 8 years of professional experience in anesthesiology after completing postgraduate qualifications such as FCPS / MD in Anesthesiology (Diploma holders are not eligible for the consultant position).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Administer general and regional anesthetics, adjusting as necessary during surgery and procedures.
∎ Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, ensuring a tailored plan for each patient.
∎ Maintain patient records and document medications administered during procedures.
∎ Be present in the operating theater and assist with anesthesia management.
∎ Monitor patient vital signs, fluid, blood, and electrolyte balance during procedures.
∎ Respond to adverse reactions and complications, ensuring patient safety.
∎ Provide anesthesia for procedures outside the operating theater (e.g., CT scans, MRIs, ERCP).
∎ Mentor and supervise Specialist, Registrar, and Sr. Medical Officer in Anesthesiology.
∎ Evaluate patient histories and collaborate with surgical teams to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
∎ Perform airway management, tracheal intubation, and extubation.
∎ Ensure patients progress safely through recovery stages post-anesthesia.
∎ Participate in medical boards as needed
∎ Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Specialized Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant in Anesthesiology to provide comprehensive perioperative care, including preoperative evaluation, perioperative management, and post-anesthesia care. The Consultant will work closely with surgical teams to ensure tailored anesthesia plans and high-quality patient care using advanced monitoring techniques.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
