Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and at least 4 years' experience. OR Master's degree in relevant discipline and at least 3 years' experience. Work experience in NGO, especially INGO is preferred.

Job Context:
∎ Reports to: Manager-Finance and Administration
∎ Employment start: At the earliest
∎ Contract duration: Initial contract of one year; based on performance, the contract will be extended.
∎ Working Conditions and Environment: This will be applicable according to the Swisscontact Finance and Operations Manual. The position requires to travel in field locations for partner/subcontractor monitoring.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of complete documentation for NGOAB approval.
∎ Submission of documents and follow up for approval.
∎ Preparation of financial statements for NGOAB and, other government entities and assist in preparing donor financial reports.
∎ Conduct financial and compliance monitoring of project partners/subcontractors.
∎ Manage the NGOAB audits supervised by Manager Finance and Administration
∎ Coordinating expat security clearances, work permit and visa.
∎ Attending monthly coordination meeting at UNO/DC office and ensure UNO/DC office certificates
∎ Other administrative work (such as procurement and logistics) assigned by Manager Finance and Administration
∎ Other Duties and Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure mutual learning, sharing and collaboration with the technical units to assure consistency in the implementation of systems and procedures.
∎ Conduct any other task assigned by the Manager-Finance and Administration and/or Head of Business Administration.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficient in MS Excel and excellent working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office, Outlook, etc.
∎ Sound understanding of Financial Management
∎ Sound understanding of NOGOAB compliance including expats legal requirements for work in Bangladesh.
∎ Sound knowledge on External Relationship management with Gov. Stakeholders
∎ Sound knowledge on Audit facilitation
∎ Degree/courses/certification on Financial Management is preferred.
∎ Works independently but a team player.
∎ Proficient in written and oral communication skills both in Bangla and English and communicates clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Typing skills in Bangla is preferred.
∎ Possesses strong negotiation skills.
∎ Works with trustworthiness and integrity and is committed to Swisscontact's core values.
∎ Operates effectively under stress.
∎ Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to gender and diversity.
∎ Possesses sound analytical and problem-solving skills and solution oriented.
