Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4-5 years of experience working in sports development, community engagement, or humanitarian settings.
∎ Proven experience in managing teams and projects.
∎ Experience working with refugees or marginalized populations is preferred
∎ For those with substantial experience in the relevant field, academic qualifications may be relaxed under consideration.
∎ Strong organizational and planning skills.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
∎ Ability to analyze data and prepare clear and concise reports.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali is essential. Knowledge of local languages or dialects is an advantage
∎ Passion for sports and its potential to promote social change.
∎ Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse communities.
∎ Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and challenges.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare implementation plan for Sports for Protection, Social Cohesion, and Inclusion activities for the assigned camps in participation with project team and project manager.
∎ Lead team for sports field, sports club, sports event and store operation activities. Visit the activities, extend technical support, demonstrate quality implementation, and guide team members.
∎ Support team members in community engagement for sports, like coordination, cooperation with existing sports groups, sports field caretakers, youth groups and players.
∎ Coordinate with camp authorities, UNHCR, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure community participation, resources and establish linkage.
∎ Develop detailed work plans and timelines for project activities, ensuring alignment with sports for protection goals.
∎ Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes under CBP project plan.
∎ Job Summary
∎ The coordinator - Sports for Protection will oversee and coordinate the implementation of Sports for Protection, Social Cohesion, and Inclusion activities under the supervision of Project Manager, Sustainable Solutions and Protection for the Rohingya Community in Camps (Community Based Protection) project in Rohingya refugee camps in Ukhia and Teknaf, Cox's Bazar. This role will involve supporting in strategic planning, resource management, team leadership, and coordination with camp level stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of sports-based programs. The coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating project outcomes and providing regular updates to the project manager.
