Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate Trims Procurement activities complying with the Company Code of Ethics Guideline.
∎ Coordinating and performing of Trims Procurement in a timely and courteous manner.
∎ a. Ensure full compliance Company policy and procedure as per Trims planning & procurement procedure.
∎ b. Perform Material Resource Planning (MRP) for Trims for moderately critical items with less lead-time.
∎ c. To ensure that all purchase orders are reviewed to confirm compliance with our instructions so that our obligations and commitments can still be achieved.
∎ d. To accurately define specification requirements in consultation with appropriate departments then seek out potential suppliers to meet those requirements on specification, quality, delivery, and price.
∎ e. To ensure that up-to-date information is provided on product availability, delivery times or product assembly when requested.
∎ f. To coordinate the Trims stock as per the MRP system thereby provide delivery scheduling for trims items.
∎ g. To source/procure specials requests on a daily basis from details provided by the internal customers.
∎ h. To Reduce surplus stock in inventory categories where the possible knowing minimum and maximum level of inventory.
∎ i. Ensure suppliers adhere to price and delivery promises, and coordinate if there are discrepancies related to quality and quantity.
∎ j. Calculating the Total Cost of Acquisition (TCA) in order to ensure the best transaction in every procurement Decision.
∎ Coordinating with suppliers to collect quotations, negotiate, make Comparative Statement and Price Approval, generate Purchase order in JDE, PI Collection, L/C opening follow up with Commercial Department. Scheduling and controlling delivery considering capacity.
∎ Responsible for researching potential suppliers and managing suppliers for a particular item(s). Meets with suppliers, ensures quality standards, and works to reduce long term costs. Develop Contingency planning for each item.
∎ Sourcing new potential suppliers for trims especially for the new item, sample developments, sample follow-ups and initiate any new change in specifications.
∎ Reconciliation of Trims and Accessories Inventory for Internal and Contractors production plan
∎ Build and maintain good business relations with the suppliers and standardize the Supply chain process.
∎ Perform any other functional activities indicated by the immediate supervisor.
