Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and coordinate tasks such as feeding, milking, cleaning, and breeding of cows.
∎ Inspect barns and milking parlor for cleanliness and maintenance, ensuring compliance with
∎ standards.
∎ Study feed and milk production records to determine optimal feed formulas for maximum milk yield.
∎ Develop schedules for breeding, dehorning, and sale of calves based on genetic and health records.
∎ Schedule and oversee breeding, vaccinating, and dehorning activities for cows and calves.
∎ Observe cows during estrus and perform artificial insemination to achieve desired offspring.
∎ Examine cows for signs of illness, injuries, and calving; provide treatment and assistance as needed.
∎ Utilize necessary equipment for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops like corn and hay.
∎ Repair farm equipment and buildings using basic electrical, carpentry tools, and welding equipment.
∎ Organize workflow, schedule dairy unit staff, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
∎ Collaborate with the Operations Manager to plan capital improvements, technology upgrades, and
∎ staff development.
∎ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the dairy unit.
∎ Build positive relationships with industry partners, suppliers, and service technicians.
∎ Act as a company ambassador, effectively communicating with visitors and clients, providing tours
∎ when necessary.
∎ Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure the efficient use of resources.
∎ Assist with budgeting and financial planning for the farm.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of farm livestock care and crop planting, cultivating, and harvesting.
∎ Familiarity with common hand tools, farm machinery, and equipment.
∎ Proficiency in artificial insemination of livestock.
∎ Ability to provide proper care for farm livestock and use and maintain tools and machinery.
∎ Leadership skills to effectively direct the work of others.
∎ Physical ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other
∎ employees.
∎ Proven experience in cow farm management and supervision.
∎ Knowledge of dairy cattle care, breeding, and health maintenance.
∎ Strong leadership and communication skills.
∎ Ability to work in a physically demanding and outdoor environment.
∎ Dedication to animal welfare and farm sustainability.
∎ Knowledge of farm equipment operation and maintenance is a plus.
∎ Willingness to work flexible hours as required by farm operations.
