Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Accurate Data Entry: Input, update, and maintain customer information, policy documents, claim data, and other relevant records into the company database or insurance management system.
∎ Data Verification: Review, verify, and cross-check the accuracy of entered data, ensuring that any discrepancies or errors are identified and corrected promptly.
∎ Document Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital files, ensuring that all data is accessible and stored in a secure manner.
∎ Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as the customer service team, underwriting, claims, and finance, to gather necessary data and resolve discrepancies.
∎ Reporting: Generate routine and ad-hoc reports as required by supervisors or other departments.
∎ Data Backup: Ensure that data backups are performed regularly to avoid loss of critical information.
∎ Compliance: Follow company data entry procedures and comply with legal and company guidelines related to customer privacy and data security.
∎ Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve data entry processes and suggest new methods or tools for increased efficiency.
∎ Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive customer information with the utmost care, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and company policies.
