Job Context:
∎ HELVETAS, in partnership with ACTED, is cooperating to open operations in Cox’s Bazar in response to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis and is working on Site Management in the Camps of the Kutupalong-Balukhali Expansion Site, Cox’s Bazar.
∎ HELVETAS/ACTED seeks to recruit:
∎ Database Assistant- Must be fluent in Chittagong dialect
∎ Line Management: The Database Assistant will report to and operate under the supervision of the DRR Officer.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Database Assistant will be responsible for
∎ Maintaining Contact Lists as necessary
∎ Tracking all CFW activities across multiple camps whilst following donor requirements
∎ Tracking CFW beneficiary database
∎ Develop when needed camp level household lists, databases, tracking tools, KOBO forms etc.
∎ Compile collected assessment data (KOBO) and update it as and when required
∎ Support Project manager in preparation of necessary reports
∎ Any other administrative tasks, as delegated by the Data Base Officer

Additional Requirements:
∎ Great Microsoft Office Suite particularly MS Excel skills
∎ Experience conducting data entry and data processing in Excel or any other software package
∎ Experience using ODK for quantitative data collection desired
∎ Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
∎ Excellent time management skills
∎ Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility
∎ Fluency in English speaking and writing
∎ Knowledge of the Chittagong local language (understanding and speaking) is a must
∎ Ability to work independently
∎ Ability to translate questionnaires from English to Bangla
∎ Strong attention to details

Salary: Tk. 51700 - 53300 (Monthly)
