Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Co-ordinate the activities of the commercial department with other departments & outside parties, government offices, local liaison offices of buyers, audit farms, banks etc.
∎ Smooth operational performance for export and import activities for management reporting.
∎ Co-ordinate with marketing, merchandising department and accounts/finance department regularly for shipment schedule and fund management activities respectably.
∎ Developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve targets. Reporting to the top management and General Manager of the company. Responsible to give a good account and prove to be equal to your responsibilities.
∎ Follow up to activities with EPB, Bond & Customs Commission-rate (bond & customs audit), BGMEA, Bank, C&F, Insurance and shipping transport.
∎ Dealing with buyers & suppliers for procurement documents.
∎ Correspondence with local buying house & foreign buyer through e-mail time to time regarding export documents.
∎ Liable to prepare a presentation to the top management of the company for a monthly meeting purpose.
∎ Follow up to submit export documents to Bank for negotiation with buyers’ bank for bill realization.
∎ Follow up on the payment realization & disbursement of the funds after getting the payment.
∎ Play an integral part in the overall success of the team and take responsibility.
∎ Have a great sense of urgency with a positive attitude.
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the Management.
