∎ Masters preferably in Economics/ Public Administration/ Development Studies/ Sociology/ Finance/ Statistics or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university.

Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Deputy Manager, Communication, Finance & Grant Management will administer the grant portfolio and will ensure sustainable strategic and operational communication support for the project for its internal and external stakeholders across accurate channels under the direction of the Programme Manager
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform rigorous monitoring of grants, grant spending, portfolio spending and perform further analysis to aid in resolution of issues identified and also Identify questionable costs from donor compliance perspective.
∎ Ensure regular and effective communications with the partners and key stakeholders (inside and outside) to share updates/progress as per plan and need of the project/programme in consultation with the management and to establish a vertical and horizontal smooth communication flow with them.
∎ Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly (financial and narrative) reports and ensure submission deadlines are met as per donor requirement.
∎ Design and deploy program communication strategy, materials as per need of project/programme and its different stakeholders. Develop plans and organize events on advocacy to influence policy.
∎ Writing project updates, preparing narrations liaising with the donors/potential donors, respond to develop partners and other stake holders queries as per need of the project/programme.
∎ Assisting project's different unit in order to communicate with national and international consultants, stakeholders and to arrange necessary field visit, meetings, including preparing ToRs, MoU or agreements and other documents.
∎ Handling different external missions while assessing/ appraising/evaluating different component/initiative of BRAC education Programme.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Have analytical and presentation skills with proven critical thinking.
∎ Have ability to maintain communication among stakeholders and to write analytical report.
∎ Have ability to prepare programme/project's budget and analysis.
∎ Advance knowledge and skills on any analytical/statistical tools/application.
∎ Knowledge of the requirements of institutional donors including budgeting, eligibility issues, compliance management, and reporting; experience of engaging with donors at a strategic level.
∎ Understanding of the financial aspects of grant management, ability to work with Finance Departments on grant management issues.
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field.
