Job Responsibilities:
∎ End to End Logistics solution of BULK Cargo import.
∎ Ensure safe transportation of goods from port to Customer's site.
∎ Establish material delivery planning/procedures to ensure availability of required import material in time.
∎ Liaison with Commercial & Finance Department for LC opening.
∎ Monitor shipment, coordinate with supplier on timely delivery of import consignment.
∎ Coordinate with Shipping Agent/C & F Agents/port authority for timely clearance of material.
∎ Ensure effective handling of customs & clearance issues at competitive cost.
∎ Maintain liaison with Customs to resolve disputed issues.
∎ Ensure proper selection of HS code for easy clearance from custom to save additional duties.
∎ Overall Handling of Mother Vessel, Stevedoring and Lighter vessel operations.
∎ Overall Control of water and land logistics to avoid any demurrage.
∎ Select potential vendors for third party logistics after verifying the vendor selection procedure.
∎ Warehouse/Stock Yard management.
∎ Need to monitor the following data registers: Materials Delivery Challan (MDC); Gate Pass; Goods Receipt Note (GRN) etc.
∎ Provide data/documents and support Billing department to prepare bills.
∎ Follow up the storage process for all the imported materials, monitor stock level, site wise inventory management and generate report weekly/monthly.
∎ To lead the logistic team.
∎ Keep close connection with customer and business development team to earn the ultimate satisfaction of the customers on determination of quantity and timing of the deliveries.
∎ Ensure continual improvement of self and development of work process/system.
∎ Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 33 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 8 years relevant experience for Deputy Manager position
∎ Minimum 10 years relevant experience for Manager position
∎ Applicants having only relevant experience are requested to apply only.
∎ Leadership Quality and experience of work under pressure.
∎ Have experience in handling BULK commodities like Stone, Coal, Food Grains will get preference
∎ Analytical, creative thinker and excellent negotiator.
∎ Excellent communication skills and convincing personality.
∎ Strong skills of identifying opportunities and turn the same into reality.
∎ Strong client service providing skills
∎ Ability and willingness to work under pressure & beyond office hour.
∎ Highly motivated with good time management skills.
∎ Energetic, hardworking and flexible.
∎ Good over computer skills: MS office, E-mail, Internet browsing, Report writing etc.
