Freight Forwarding, Logistics Management, Transport Operation, Transportation Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for export & import related vehicle & logistics equipment operation of the group.
∎ Keep track record of vehicle movement all time & Monitoring of Vehicle Tracking System.
∎ Tactfully handle problem while facing critical situation in road and managing any accident/ Police case of transport section.
∎ Monitor company vehicles trip-Daily/Monthly & ensure optimum utilization.
∎ Handling the drivers, helpers & transport related staff to make sure smooth operations of vehicles.
∎ Supervise all Driver/Helper/subordinates activities and checking all trips/bills/invoice for approval from authority.
∎ Maintain the CT-PAT standards demand in terms of transshipment security.
∎ Maintain registers, VAT Challan, delivery Challan, Gate pass and other documentation.
∎ Develop and ensure good working relationships with external logistics agencies, suppliers and factory concern in order to support the smooth provision of logistics services across the group.
∎ Liaise regularly with sector specialist in order to understand ongoing business activities, traffic update and developments areas.
∎ Monitor company vehicles maintenance works in coordination to maintenance team & optimize maintenance cost by tracking preventive/schedule maintenance & Corrective maintenance.
∎ Monitoring and controlling the fuel & gas consumption of vehicle.
∎ Increase effectiveness and efficiency by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process.
∎ Support in developing and implementing Logistics plans in line with corporate Logistics strategy in order to support the achievement of overall business objectives.
∎ Other responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ A good understanding of transport, logistics, warehousing, terminal operations, and/or other fields of supply chain management and trade in Bangladesh
∎ Working experience either with Chattogram Port Authority, Private Inland Container Depots or other logistic service providers strongly preferred.
∎ An understanding of member-based organizations in Bangladesh is highly desirable, including chambers of commerce and trade associations
∎ Must be fit to travel to different project of the group and Chattogram if it is necessary.
∎ Strong communication skills in both Bangla and English languages.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft applications and other standard software.
∎ Personal attributes should include qualities such as consistency, willingness to learn and flexibility, self-motivated, and ability to work in a team, capacity to manage confidential information and convince, cultural sensitivity, able to follow through with difficult issues in an open and professional manner.
