∎ CA (CC)/ CA Partly qualified / M.com / MBA in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 5 years of experience in MIS management, preferably in a manufacturing of animal feed environment.
∎ Excellent proficiency in data analysis tools and software e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Power Point etc.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Assistant Manager – Factory MIS is responsible for overseeing the management information systems within the animal feed factory.
∎ This role entails coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting on production, raw material (RM), additives, packing materials, store management etc.
∎ This role also will play a critical role in data analysis and decision-making processes on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
∎ Check product formulation and identity , introduce the effective cost control system.
∎ Ensure the product and determine cost compared to other factories of the Industry.
∎ Arrange a monthly meeting based on the data analysis with proper explanation of variances.
∎ Develop, implement, and maintain effective MIS for production, RM, Additives and Packing Materials consumption, store management, and material management.
∎ Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data across all reporting systems.
∎ Reporting and Analysis:
∎ Generate daily, monthly, and yearly reports on key metrics, including production efficiency, raw material usage, additive consumption, and inventory levels.
∎ Analyze data trends and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the management.
∎ Cross-Department Coordination:
∎ Collaborate with production, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to gather and validate data.
∎ Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on material requirements and inventory management.
∎ Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and additives, ensuring timely procurement and optimal stock levels.
∎ Implement inventory control measures and systems to minimize process loss and ensure efficient usage of materials.
∎ System Development and Optimization:
∎ Identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
∎ Lead projects aimed at integrating MIS with existing ERP systems for improved workflow and data access.
∎ Training and Support:
∎ Provide training to staff on MIS tools and best practices for data management and reporting.
∎ Serve as the primary point of contact for any issues or inquiries related to MIS.
∎ Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, inventory turnover, and material efficiency.
∎ Regularly assess performance against KPIs and prepare reports for management review.
∎ Compliance and Best Practices:
∎ Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards related to data management and reporting.
∎ Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
